Is This KBB As Old As I Think It Is?
I don’t have any information about KBB Templar pipes. However, the style of the KBB in the Cloverleaf on the shank and what looks like Algerian Bruyere would suggest 1930s. As does the slot at the end of the stem, as opposed to the round orifice found on pre-1920 KBB’s. -

Cannot Identify My New Kaywoodie Purchase....
That finish was originally an option to the Kaywoodie Standard line from the early 1970's. In 1975-76 that finish became its own line called Kaywoodie Embassy. It was not offered in 1977 or after. So depending on how its stamped you can get a pretty good estimate of the pipes age. What are the... -
