I first started smoking a pipe at age 20, I was a broke, unemployed, cigarette smoker so my ex-services uncle gave me some pipes and a whole lot of Royal Navy tobacco rations to help me out.
Long story short, in my 40s I began smoking pipes and cigars for pleasure rather than smoking cigarettes for nicotine and now it's mostly the pipe for me.
