    Dunhill WWI Campaign Pipe

Great thread! Just before I found this topic I watched a movie about British troops in WWI and one of the central characters smoked a similar pipe. Worth the time to watch if you have Amazon prime. Journey's End

All Of My Visa Bill ...

Mine was for a big ol' Savinelli estate pipe, Peterson's Irish whiskey blend,MacBaren's plumcake, Stokkebye peaches & cream and a tin of Granger. Really wish I could find the Irish whiskey blend in bulk, I love that stuff. I still have another tin of Granger on backorder too.

What Brought You To The Pipe?

Quit cigarettes a year ago and just really missed the taste of tobacco. I didn’t want to go back to cigs so I decided to give the pipe a try. I wish I’d switched to a pipe years ago! I’m really enjoying all the different flavors that pipe tobacco offers.

    Out Of Stock

I can find most OTC blends locally except for Granger which I’m very fond of. The B&M tobacco shop offered to order a pouch for me..for 10 bucks. I can order a canister for 29 bucks. I have to order any of the better blends anyway so adding a can of Granger or CH isn’t a big deal and...

How Many Tubs Do You Have?

I like a couple of the OTC "codger" blends, Possibly because I'm getting uncomfortably close to codgerdom myself. I really enjoy Carter Hall and I have 2 tubs stashed back against price increases and one tub open that I refill my daily use pouch from. CH is the one that I take to work...

    Go To Pipe Tamper

I have several of the Czech tools at home, In the truck and in pockets but I've had good luck with wood screws, roofing nails and my pocket knife too. The cartridge case is a good idea and I've always got some of those around.

    Finally Gave In.

I'm new to the pipe myself and OTC blends were the first I tried. Carter Hall stands out above the rest imo and it's become my daily go-to tobacco. I've put a few tubs away for a rainy day (or price increases) and generally always carry a pouch with me. Nice stuff. Granger is another OTC...

New to the Pipe and the Forum

Hello everyone, I'm in Arkansas and just took up the pipe a few months ago so I'm here to learn. In my area the only pipe tobacco available is the standard OTC blends and I've tried most of them and found that I do enjoy Carter Hall and SWR Aromatic quite a bit. Thanks to a kind soul who sent...
