Help: Comoy's "Specimen" 77008 Magnum (Huge!) Sitter

It’s such a cool pipe that looks melted. I have seen some from the late 80s, sets typically of 3, but they just aren’t as smooth as this one. Given the tenon, I think it’s post 1960s. Most higher grade Comoys that I have seen have a reinforced stepped tenon but those were from the 50s and earlier.

    Genod Commemorative Pipe ID Help

I think this one was a guy from Canada (Montreal). A lot of his pipes were personalized. Some were from pipe smoker of the year or of the sort. The dating format was a little different than this one though.

    Dating Charatan?

Pre Lane is not pre lane. Lane markings were on Reuben era pipes. This one is Reuben era though.

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

I’m interested in boxes from 20s to 1980s and the respective sleeves used in them. I have not reviewed them! Could you point me in the right direction? I like also the sleuthing and historical factor involved. Example when the ole lady became queen and the writing that changed on the boxes.

Yeah, I’ve actually tried finding information about boxes/cases/sleeves for dunhills and the various eras. Not too much info.
