The site I bought it from said Savinelli Elegance 313 Amber stem briar pipe. It came from France so it may be called something else.

Now i have to decide if I'm going to smoke it or just display it. I'm leaning towards display I know amber can be very brittle.
It's not too bad. I've got a pipe from 1912 that didn't survive its age but the stem and bone tenon are in perfect condition. Just don't expose it to a lot of UV, that will make it brittle. Nothing wrong with a display only piece either though.

If you're still waiting on a second opinion, that stem definitely looks amber to me. Combined with the thin chamber walls and accessory bands, I'd say you have yourself a top specimen from Savinelli.
