Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our Featured Interview tonight is with pipe maker Lee Von Erck. Lee has been making pipes for over 30-years. His pipes are fantastic works of art, and he is a super nice guy as well. The show will be like one huge pipe show report, as Lee recently traveled to Japan and Singapore to attend three different pipe shows, and Brian just returned from The West Coast Pipe Show in Las Vegas. We’ll have an eBay related rant at the end of the show too. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!
Tonight’s show is sponsored by SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.
We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

Always a pleasure to listen to my friend Lee…and of course Brian. As Brian stated…the Ebay scammers are truly a sad lot…
Really good show! I enjoyed your reports from the shows. Nice pick up on the Satoh’s and the others.
Your interview was just a joy to listen to. Lee can really make a visit to a place just come alive. I can remember Lee, Mike McNiel, and you coming to the vintage tobacco table at KC in 2015 & 16. Man, you guys just loved the cigarettes we had from to 50’s.
Good music selection. It’s a shame Sammy didn’t come on the scene until way later. We might have really appreciated him in 90’s and later.
eBay scammers are a problem. You just have to know who you are dealing with.
Hi Brian!
Very nice recap of the WCPS. And, Lee’s travelogue of Asian pipe shows was fabulous. It was an informative and warm conversation between two good friends.
I really enjoyed the Sammy Davis Jr. performance, by a great entertainer and pipe smoker.
Thanks for another fun show.
