Yes, I sort of do, actually. My first smoke was some time in high school and I tried a pipe my friend would smoke. Then, on July 4, 2017 my brother and I went to the drug store and bought some Captain Black to try in my other brother's old cob we had found, which unbeknownst to us was ruined by smoking marijuana. The experience was unfulfilling.

My first "real" smoke was when I decided I actually wanted to start pipe smoking, in March or April of 2018. I ordered a Missouri Meerschaum Legend and a tin of Dunhill Nightcap, then took it up to my cabin in the mountains. The tin note was absolutely incredible: wood, leather, barbecue, smoke. I knew I would love it before the first charring light. My wife (then girlfriend) took some photos of me on a film camera.

From me, it would just be some guy in his thirties with a Tinderbox house pipe. I did smoke Hav'a'Tampa cigars in the student union at college where study lamps and desks with ashtrays were provided. You know that was a long time ago. At college age, I didn't want to look like I was imitating my dad or my professors, whatever else I did.

My mom has the picture albums when I was a kid. I remember me and my sister with cigarettes, pipes and cigars in our mouths. But the best were the bubble gum cigars. She liked the pink I liked the blue. We were always trying to talk my old man into buying tobaccos or cigars so we could get our cigars.

I had my kids take pics with crack pipes and bongs taller than they were, think I was a bad dad?

My mom took my brother and I for pictures when we were young and he had a pack of candy cigarettes that made it into the pic

My first cigar was a Hav-a-Tampa Jewel in college, as well. Though I had to smoke mine outside! ?
I graduated on to better cigars, and stuck with that until I discovered pipe tobacco. I only occasionally have a cigar now, mostly because of how expensive they are, but I’ve noticed some affordable sales online, so I may start back having a few now and then.

My first smoke was a cigarette at about 10 years old give or take. My first cigar I think I was about 23 or so. It was a house of horvath. I believe they are or were machine made in Toronto. I think I smoked my 1st pipe when I was about 30. It was a cob and some 1 Q. I hated it and stopped for a few years then tried again with English blends. The rest is history. I still have that same old cob. It is dedicated to aros and I don't smoke many English blends anymore lol

I remember being given a cob and a small briar as “toys” when I was very, very young. Funny, this thread washed up that long forgotten memory. I remember being able to taste the ghost of tobacco in the little bent briar. Alas, no pics.
