I just opened a jar that I've had in the cellar since 1983, some tobacco that was given to me
as a going away present from my troops during one of many transfers from one unit to another.
I filled a pouch and stuffed a cob, as it has quit a sweet smell and I don't usually like aromatics,
and the cob can be easily tossed.
I was pleasantly surprised on lighting it, as it was good and not overly topped. A taste of Suntory
Whiskey and coconuts. 'June says it smells like cinnamon'... quit a room note she added.
The reason I think you'll hate me is because I have no idea what the name of the tobacco is.. I
believe it was a local house blend. (Given to me in Nago, Okinawa - at least I dated the jar).
