Because I can! That's Y! So it seems this is my 3000th post. Finally! Took me long enough! I'm such a slacker! But as long as you fine gentlemen (and occasionally a lady or two) keep posting on this forum, and giving me great posts to read and reply to, I'll hit 4000 eventually too. So many great things have happened since I joined this forum, and I'm very pleased I did. I've learned so much, and the learning never ends it seems. There's always something new, always something better. There's always new aspects of the hobby to explore. I've collected pipes, carved pipes, tried all kinds of blends, now blending at home.... Wow! I've gone from cheap pear wood pipes to beautiful commissions made just for me. Purchased different shapes and brands of pipes. I have Nordings, Petersons, Savinellis, etc. etc. I have bents, straights, upside down stem pipes....er wait that was just an ebay pipe. Smooths, blasteds (I used poor grammar o purpose because I can), rusticateds, and unstained (like my underwear...maybe ). I've learned a lot, helped others learn, and made some great friends (none with benefits... I don't roll that way sheesh!) And I even met a short little space alien named Zimbog...er... oops, sorry, wrong forum. And I even became a pirate, sailing on that wonderful Black Frigate (hehe because some people are probably tired of hearing about Black Frigate, because they don't appreciate Black Frigate, because they're jealous of Black Frigate Black Frigate Black Frigate! Take that non-Black Frigate people!!!). Seriously though, everyone. Thank you all for making this forum everything that it is, you the members, the admins, and mods. Thank you all for making a small part of my life, this little enjoyment we all share, so very much better!
And now I'm going to sleep because I gotta work in the morning.

And I bet your pipe collection has grown exponentially since joining this forum too, huh? So, what is this Black Frigate you speak of?

Congrats dude!!! Always love reading thine posts. Glad you're here! Personally, I don't see color. Black Frigate just feels racist. I dream of the day when we judge a Frigate, not the color of the boat, but by the content of its character.

This joint has already cost me a small fortune, and I'm not even close to 3000 posts!
Hope you can afford to stay another few thousand.

Thanks everyone! It's been a blast being a member of this forum. I enjoy reading all the posts and replying to them as well. As I've said before, and as others have said as well, it's like an online pipe club. It's always a pleasure to kick back and enjoy a pipe with you fellas and talk tobacco.

 I just got home from a rough day at work. This gave me the belly laugh I needed.
