Does anyone here know or remember XTC? When I was a young lad they were all over college radio. The excellent Skylarking which was produced by Tod Rundgren is a summer essential!
I love XTC. I was fortunate enough to meet Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding at a Tower Records event in New York years ago. They were kind enough to sign all of my XTC and the Dukes of Stratosphear LPs.
I remember the Dear God song being on the radio a lot and I liked it but I never checked out their other stuff.
I spent the morning listening to Drums and Wires and I really liked it!You really should check out their other material. That is my least favorite song of theirs, actually they are making Interview with a Vampire into a streaming series and using a female sung cover version of that as the theme song.
what the other guy said. That's a good song but it's average for them.I remember the Dear God song being on the radio a lot and I liked it but I never checked out their other stuff.
I remember The Ballad of Peter Pumkinhead
SiriusXM plays them all the time on the channels i listen to.
But how many of you actually watched the Prisoner? Since the video tie in is there.
Yes, way ahead of it’s time, i was little when it was on, my older brother watched it and i pretended i got it, but watched it years later and did get it. I still have a number 6 pin (somewhere) i picked up at Comic-Con years ago.The BBC show? That's hallmark television if you ask me... rather existential.
