I have one of their torch lighters for cigars and it's worked great so far, no complaints.

I had a Resource that was garbage and refused to light after about 4 months. They replaced it with the newer Resource that has worked so far. Time will tell on it.
Their warranty is good, I'll say that for them.

I have a Scribe which works well enough and seems solidly built but I only use it as a backup to two Kiribi Kabutos which have worked without flaw for two years straight.

My Scribe malfunctioned and I sent it in. Within a matter of days I received a new one which has worked flawlessly. Anything you buy from them is good for life.

I've given up on Xikar lighters. They always develop problems and I can't be bothered sending them back anymore. I guess there's a reason for their outstanding guarantee.

My Xikar Scribe has been faultless for years, I think these lighters have the best ergonomics for pipe lighting and i like the large but soft flame they can produce.
My only complaint is its prodigious appetite for gas. It may only run one or two evenings on a charge. So I confess that, while I LOVE using it (it was a gift from my lovely bride, inscribed to mark an important event) I always have a plain old Bic in reach as backup.
