I can’t make out the mark on the mount, so going off the sellers word that it says WWS.

I feel like an idiot that it took me so long to click with this one. It wasn’t until I felt the familiar stickiness of meerschaum on a wet finger that I realised that this pipe is actually clay combined with powdered meer. I have another pipe made with the same material, a patented product called “allsorbo” manufactured by William White and Sons in Glasgow.

so incase any other chum stumbles upon this in a future google search, that’s what I’m deducing the WWS stands for

I ended up bending a spare stem I had lying around to fit it. Sometime I’ll grab a plip and taper the tenon with some sandpaper to use instead

Starting the day with some hot coffee and a bowl of Anthology. After three bowls in three different pipes, I can safely say that this is a thoroughly satisfying tobacco. I hope everyone has a blessed day.
