I’ve got a couple of nice Peterson’s I’d like to trade. Based on my limited experience, I’d like to keep deals in US.
The first is a unnumbered System 3 Irish Free State. Based upon catalogs of the era’s shape charts I believe it to be a 9 or a 357. It’s in great shape for its age, and I was very excited to get it, but underestimated its size-it’s way larger than fits my smoking style. I’ve not smoked it.
Traded: IFS 357 10.08.24
Second is a 2019 Silver Mounted Army 102. Lightly smoked and in great shape.
It has an acrylic p-lip, and the acrylic is the only reason it’s up for swap. It will come in its original box and sock.
Pipes I’m looking for are:
Peterson:
-2023 Short Army: any straight-ish shapes
-Sportsman series straight shapes
-Pre Republic: straight system or straight military mount
-Made in Eire or Irish Free State: straight System, 363(313), 364(314), or military mount
-Early Republic straight system: 31 or 87
-old (pre WWII) military mount straight billiards/pots
Stanwell: DM or (X)M models, or other smaller light-ish reg’d era pipes
Sören Refbjerg: straight, light
Others: I like straight, light, open draw, saddle stem, vulcanite, open to offers but I may seem picky, 5.75” or less.
