Hi everyone!
I'm looking for my first Briar, and I love the Bent Dublin shape, especially with a worked rim and some sandblasting on the body.

I'd be looking at spending around 100$ for it. Any suggestions or maybe you are trying to sell one, I might be interested.

Post here with a photo of the pipe and your asking price or you can also PM me :)
Here's an example of what I mean. (if you could tell me the real term to describe this type of pipe it'd be great too :))

Look at Stanwell, Johs, Luciano, and Brebbia, for starters. Dublin is a favorite shape for many. It seems to have

the widest variety of interpretations of nearly any of the shapes. I have several Dublins, and they don't look that

much alike. Look at smokingpipes.com estate pipes; these are fully reconditioned and you can get good discounts

on used pipes.

...and Nording at smokingpipes.com; they are loaded with them, at below $100. You just have to decide

which one.

I think you really hit the nail with Nording! That's exactly what I'm looking for. I was looking for a bent dublin with a raw top but the Nording's finish more than compensate :P
Any other companies similar to Nording?

I also happen to like bent billiards as well, mostly the carved or sandblasted kind.

Here are a couple of estate pieces that are very good deals. Savinelli Autographs are one of the best bang for the buck estate pipes out there in my opinion.
Mike is a great guy to do business with and his prices are very competitive.

Wow, I just found this dusty topic with google :)
I think this is my favorite shape too. Ergonomics of a bent dublin or even a billiard with the "wild nature" of a freehand, sort of. Did you get what you were looking for sunnyhours?
