Both of these products, chiefly used for lubricating shooting patches on muzzleloaders are quite excellent for use on pipes. They are made of edible, natural items, are easy to apply and work really well to keep vulcanite stems black and shiny. While nothing can take the place of a hard carnauba buff job, these products do a really great job on pipes without the worry of buffer wear. I have used them for years on all of my briar pipes, and my stems look as sharp as they day I bought them.
