I can't wait to try it out, probably break it in easy with a few bowls of Carter Hall and a glass of Buffalo Trace on the rocks. Now I lay in wait for the package to arrive.

Received my Brog churchwarden today and just finished my first smoke in it. Fired up a bowl of CH and this pipe smoked great right out of the box. As most on here know I do favor my MM Cobs but this pipe is getting a spot in my rotation right away. Smokes nice and cool and smoked all the way to the bottom to a nice ash, no relights. The bowl is nice and small for a quick 20 minute smoke. My next pipe purchase if anything but a MM with definately be another Mr Brog. Below is a pick of my "Smoking Room Rotation", these are the pipes that I smoke when I am relaxing in my den. Left to right are my MM Patriot, my Maplewarden, Brog and in front my MMCountry Gent.

Okay so I go to clean my Brog and find that it has what i believe is called a "stinger". I am wondering what you do to clean this? Is it removable or do I just soak it in alcohol when doing my thorough cleaning? I do not have any pipes with this in them and I want to make sure I do it right from the start.

It's removable, though the first time maybe a little tight. Also leaving it out will open up the draw to something closer to what you're used to. My son has one, in the lighter shade, and loved it. Loves it more after I showed him the stinger came out. :puffy:
