The nomenclature on the pipe leads me to believe you are correct on the date, also I think it may have been pipe #85 made that year but am not very well versed in Walt’s stamping system, regards.

BTW, I thoroughly cleaned and polished the pipe before shipping it to Marty so it should be good to go when you receive it. Enjoy!
