Sounds excellent. I’m interested in milder English blends, as I’ve enjoyed the well known lat bombs but would like something a little more subtle.

I picked up a few Wilke blends recently in my search for a better aromatic, and I’m really enjoying the Wilke 191. I understand it’s their best selling blend. It’s a vanilla and honey burley based aromatic, and the toppings mix well without overpowering the tobacco. My first impression upon lighting up was kind of “meh” but that changed by the time I finished the first bowl. Wilke is known for their quality aros, and 191 is very good stuff if that type of blend appeals to you.

I plan to order some more 191 at some point, and I’ll have to add some 524 to the order. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well, Wilke’s #524 blend is a real winner as a medium English - even a little Penzance like. What other offerings of theirs are worth looking into?
Medium or near medium strength English blends: No. 436, Crystal Palace, Surbrug’s West Minster, and Balkan.

Just recently tried some of their blends for the first time, and I’ve been going through a few bowls of them this week.
#191 is great.
The new Rum & Maple is more heavily topped, or at least the topping seems more forward to me, but is also great. If you have facial hair, you’ll have a maple moustache for a few hours. ?
The new Lizzie Blood Red English is really good, and I don’t usually care for aromatic Englishes. It’s a nice blend, and the Lat is barely out in front of the other leafs, so even those that aren’t crazy about Latakia might still enjoy it.
Lizzie Blood Red Virginia is great if you like straight Virginias with a little something extra.
I also have some Rum Cake, but I haven’t tried it yet.

I’ve been pleased with the fact that their aromatics don’t dry my mouth out the way a lot of other aromatics do.
