It's a Decepticon! Very interesting.. It's a convertible pipe. I'm not sure if I like it. Looks like a salt and pepper shaker.

You run into those hurricane pipes every once in a while if you surf Ebay listings. A great idea for people like me who live near the water and can only smoke outside!
Interestingly enough, Fribourg & Treyer are the makers of "Golden Mixture," which Bertrand Russell self-professedly smoked "every waking moment" of his life.

Damn, been wanting one of these for a while and heres me broke til gone end of september. When I can afford it, one of these is going to be useful for when I do field work for ecology.

Yachtexplorer has several of them.

He uses them all the time.

His collection is very high end, but eminently practical when it comes to his "go to" pipes.

He (obviously) spends a lot of time in the wind, so he uses his hurricane pipes.

Hurricanes were fairly common in the '60s and '70s, I don't think anyone has produced them recently. They're great when it's windy.

I have 3 Hurricane pipes. Proved to be useful during Irene's run up the coast last week.
