Widmer's Tobacco Shop

Stopped by Widmer's Tobacco Shop today in Holmes, PA (close to Philly). They are the first shop I've been to that lets you sample tinned tobacco for $1 a bowl. They keep a sample tin for most if not all of their available stock. The last time I stopped in, the proprietor Barry recommended the Nording - Labrador Hunter Blend but I didn't have a spare pipe with me so I stopped in today to give it a try. I ended up walking out with a tin of it. Does anyone else's tobacco shops offer this service?

Yo Tim - having opened tins to sample is a bit unusual at B&Ms, but in this area, Wingenroth's in Lebanon, Top Shelf in Skippack, Tobacco Village in Whitehall and Main Street Cigar in Belair, MD do have them. The tins may be on the dry side, is all. But these shops don't charge for the privilege.
