I’ve tried a number of tobaccos (Early Morning, My Mixture 965, Captain Black (white and dark), Cult Blood Red Moon, 1Q, and some blends from a local store), but the one I keep coming back to is the Sutliff Whiskey Cavendish. It’s the most pleasant smoke to me.

In the second and third spots are two local blends—Park Lane’s Black Forest (an aromatic) and Red Paramour (a Virginia blend).

Given these preferences, any tips on what else I should add to my list? For now, I’m just going to reorder some of the Whiskey Cavendish.

Sutliff Bourbon is better IMO, and available in bulk as well.

Ooooh I'll have to try that one as well. I really like Sutliff Whiskey Cav.

For a Whiskey flavor blend, try Borkum Riff Bourbon (Bronze), it's excellent.

For a budget friendly option the Smokers Pride Whiskey is quite good and the price is definitely right at $18 for 12 Oz bag I got.

Give Sutliff Mocha Strips a shot. A Virginia/Burley/Oriental with an interesting topping. I would never guess the flavoring as “mocha” as I get a little vanilla, raspberry?, and a very faint coffee.
