I've got some of this blend from Just For Him drying right now for a smoke later tonight. I bought it as a substitute for Shortcut to Mushrooms, which I occasionally enjoyed a few years ago. This one smells fantastic and seems to have more latakia and maybe less vanilla than Shortcut. Anyone else smoke this?

Yeah, I'm a big fan! It's one of my go to tobaccos when I am craving a slightly aromatic blend. In fact I used an old empty jar with a couple of pieces of barrels staves from FMG Cellar to make some terrible moonshine I bought taste like a smoky bourbon. You might want to try Hunting Creek from The Country Squire, one of our sponsors listed at the left. I like it quite a bit and it's similar to WBG.

A member sent me a sample of Whiskey Biscuit Gravy and I find it a refined amply-tobacco-forward blend with good nuance and medium strength. I think you'll find it thoroughly enjoyable.

I've got Shepherd's Pie from the Country Squire on the way. Next time I order I'll get some Hunting Creek.

The Whiskey Biscuit Gravy was great. The closest I get to smoking aromatics is Boswell's Northwoods and occasionally some of the Shortcut to Mushrooms I have left. I didn't find WBG to be sweeter or more aromatic than STM. It had good tobacco flavor and pretty much tasted like it smelled.

I have been living under the assumption that pickles, pigs, and whiskey are my favorite food groups. This thread makes me realize that biscuits and gravy deserve a spot on the list as well. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
