I am new to pipe smoking (approx one month), my brother gave me a cheap pipe he used a couple times (probably bought from ebay) and some bulk vanilla black çavendish. In addition to the VBC, I smoked CAO Moontrance several times and somewhat enjoyed it, noticing how the flavors intensified through the bowl.
My biggest achievement so far has been packing my bowl utilizing the Frank Method with much better results over the 3-step method.
To get a feel of different tobaccos, and after a great deal of research here and at tobaccoreviews.com , I ordered the following from Pipesandcigars.com and want to know what order you all think is good to try them in:
A. SPC Mississippi River
B. Butternut Burley (Scotty's Blend)*
C. Larry's Blend (H&H)
D. Anniversary Kake (H&H)
E. Trout Stream (HPCS)
* I already tried the Butternut Barley and found it to be good, light, with smooth flavors, very easy to smoke with no tongue bite at all. There seems to be an lingering aftertaste that reminds me of the peet in a single malt scotch
If the information helps, I normally smoke med-full bodied cigars with a decent amount of spiciness
So which of the above tobaccos should I try next?
Thank you all for the time and help, I always appreciate the vast knowledge in forums such as this.
