Do you mean Brown Sugar Flake? I haven't actually tried that one but i've got a few tins in the cellar that are coming up on 10 years. i'll have to crack a tin in the not to distant future and give it a go.

That was a real love hate tobacco. I liked it but at the time I smoked it,1980's, it was the strangest thing. The lakelands weren't around my area and it was surely a different tobacco at the time.

I only tried it in the last ten years but I really enjoyed it. When Mac Baren got bought out I was relieved to see St Bruno wasn't getting the chop. I didn't even think about them changing the recipe. I should have but I didn't.

If you ever get a chance to smoke some from the 80's you'll see what I mean.

Yes I do. The new Burnt Ends Flakes altered my already shaky senior memory. . Smoked one tin a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. The last few years the name was changed to BS Flake to discourage young folks from smoking it. Wonder if it made a difference?
