Which Blend To Break In My New Peterson?

Which of the following would be the best choice to break in my new Peterson?
Penzance

Haddo's Delight

Nightcap

Maltese Falcon

Fillmore

Really, if it were me, I would pick either Haddos or Fillmore because those blends will probably leave a less noticeable flavor in your pipe as you're breaking it in, so if you decide to dedicate it to a different blend type of tobacco somewhere down the road, the pipe wont have as much of a noticeable "ghost". Or you could just smoke Penzance and Nightcap in it and not worry about the flavor it leaves behind. The only way you're going to figure out if the flavor of the tobacco affects the pipe is by trial and error. Or you could just smoke the hell out of it with whatever blend suits you and not worry about the flavor the tobacco leaves behind. Really, this is a Your Mileage May Vary type of situation, and the only way to get a definitive answer is to just see what works best for you.

Go with your favorite! I have dedicated pipes, and keep some for Balkans, some for Virginia's, etc. I wouldn't mix VaPers and Balkans. My Peterson Grafton is a Virginia pipe, my system for aromatics, my Irish Harp for 4th Generation 1957, my Emerald for Shortcut to Mushrooms. I would say pick the tobaccco you prefer, and smoke that one in it.

I broke both my Pete's in on Nightcap, just because smoking Enlish in Irish made my inner sense of perversity tickle. Oh, and was rocking some "Flogging Molly" on my playlist as well, to round out the experience. But that's just me...
