I fail to understand the need for this post in the first place. No offense meant at all. I thoroughly enjoy this site and have often thought and still do think it to be a privilege to have the availability of so much pipe smoking knowledge and camaraderie in a free website. I do acknowledge all the hard work that goes into keeping these forums what they are and for that I truly thank you. This post just doesnt seem any different than the ones you were trying to avoid in the first place.

yeah i know what you mean - kind of like the sadistic blood thirsty voodoo mumbo jumbo - at first it feels good when they put a few pins in your effigy here a little and there a little but when they start really being naughty and touching on sensitive areas, unnecessarily in a non discrete fashion, then that is where i vote to take away the needles

kind of like an after game commentary one might listen to on radio or tv, only in that case the announcer, just as the entire media conglomerate, is being paid to tell you what you want to hear or what they decided is best for you to hear or not to hear
possibly, if it were about golf or football or even pipes, it would have been more interesting
