OK, with Tobacco-magedon up on us, when did the Captain Earle's line, made by Cornell and Diehl, hit the market? When did Old Ironsides, newer incarnation with Dan Tobacco, hit the market?

Doing that. 10 Russians seems safe. Check one off the list.

From what I can see the Captain Earle's blends are all after 2007. Old Ironsides was produced before 2007 but I'm not sure hoe the new rules apply to interrupted blends. They certainly have a case for SE if they choose.

See, as Hermit, Captain Earle's is pre-2007, according to Tobacco Reviews. So are 10 Russians, Honor, Mystic and Nightwatch safe? Dan Tobacco's Old Ironsides goes back to 2001 (yipee!) And, by the way, thanks, Greg Pease, for having clear issue dates on your blends on your website!

And, as a side note, how much could have 10 Russians changed between Hermit and Captain Earles.

Hypothetical blending note:

"We put a sh-- ton of latakia in this."
