Whats your morning blend?

Hey everyone, I would love to find a good morning blend. Something that is mid range in the nic, and pleasent in taste and in smell. I am a pretty cranky person when I wake up, so it has to be jjjjjuuust right. Now, I do realize that it is all a matter of opinion, so I guess that's what I am asking... What's your morning blend, and do you have any suggestions for me?

Cornell and Diel Epiphany is what I smoke most mornings and for me fits your description rather well.

I like a burley in the morning with my coffee.... either Sterling's Double Eagle or Uhle's Blend 300

@rickpal14: crpntr1 gave me some double eagle and I did like it but it's not quite the morning blend for me.

Dave, I have been wanting to try that Scottish mixture by Mac baren. I will have to pick some up soon.

Usually, it is Captain Bob's Pot O' Gold Mixture while I am on the treadmill for my morning two mile walk. It is a predominant Virginia Medley with just a touch of Plum, Rum and Maple. The perfect blend for me in the morning with real tobacco flavor.

That's easy! Early Morning Pipe by Dunhill lol!!! It has lots of flavor to get you going, it is not overpowering in nicotine like it's cousin Nightcap, and it has no bite.

EMP sometimes but Escudo lately

Never had the EMP. I'm definitely a fan of the escudo, flyfishing sent me a tin of that. Speaking of, where the hell is Tony now a days?

Dunhil EMP is a good choice, mild taste with good touch of latakia and orientals, I love it and it's my daily morning smoke. Also you may go to Captain Black Light if you like aros, it is very nice with cup of blakc coffee.

I like some latakia to start my day. Of late that usually - but not always - means Syrian latakia, and my blend of choice is MacBaren's HH Vintage Syrian. ::

AM-Winter months it is heavy Lat blends (C&Ds Star of the east flake,

Penzance, etc)
AM-Spring/Summer months, Vs, VaPers and burley blends (

Dunhill flake, Peterson UF, Irish, SG FVF, Butternet burley, classic

burley kake, Peretti's London flake)

Burley, was thinking pa this morning ...but Dave's suggestion of SR sounds better. BTW Jason, I've tried both macb Scottish mix and Scottish ribbon, IMHO they're two different animals. Haven't tried the Park Lane blend yet. OK SR wins ::

Couldn't agree more! I prefer Nightcap in the morning. But unlike a lot of smokers, nicotine doesn't have a big of an effect on me ::

Nightcap in my opinion is better than EMP, the reason I smoke EMP is Nightcap is so strong, I get sick in the first minute of smoking it. EMP is also a bit too strong for me, but I just have a little less than normal and it's fine All the tastiest tobbacos seem to be the high nicotine ones for some reason, anyone know why?
