What's the best pipe in your stable you forget to smoke? And why is that? I know it's a funny question,
but I think we all do this, to some degree. I have a few that don't get to the front of the line often enough.
The ones I think of first (so I may have them in mind more than some others) are my two great Peterson
B11 bent brandies, one a Shannon and the other a Killarney ebony. They are full bent brandy shape, almost
volcano, with ample medium bowls and nicely drilled and engineered, and always a pleasing smoke. I think
they have just gotten overrun by PAD attacks. Now I have reminded myself of them, I will put them out for
packing with tobacco. And then there's that excellent Jobey, and others. How about your wallflower but
good smoking pipes?
