What's the best pipe in your stable you forget to smoke? And why is that? I know it's a funny question,

but I think we all do this, to some degree. I have a few that don't get to the front of the line often enough.

The ones I think of first (so I may have them in mind more than some others) are my two great Peterson

B11 bent brandies, one a Shannon and the other a Killarney ebony. They are full bent brandy shape, almost

volcano, with ample medium bowls and nicely drilled and engineered, and always a pleasing smoke. I think

they have just gotten overrun by PAD attacks. Now I have reminded myself of them, I will put them out for

packing with tobacco. And then there's that excellent Jobey, and others. How about your wallflower but

good smoking pipes?

mr. brog 66.
a christmas gift from swmbo, it is a smallish pipe with an odd shape (bent acorn-ish) that never quite fit my hands...I call it being in rotation but, there always seems to be a shinier pipe getting in its way.
that said, its rare renditions of the dunhill trifecta (emp, 965, nc) can be short, intense and always sublime...more so, I feel, than if I reached for it more regularly.
