Dang Grandpa Joe is Savage! They're starving to death eating cabbage and he's going to put out the big coin for some Bob's chocolate flake LOL

Dude's been faking a sickness for YEARS!

You're telling me he couldn't get outta bed to get a J-O-B but when Charlie comes home with a golden ticket, suddenly twinkle toes over here riverdancing across the whole living room.

Joe's a fraud!

Wonka was a Mixture 79 man, a little publicized fact, however, not much escaped the factory in those years.

Grandpa Joe touched the ceiling of the fizzy lifting room with burley stained fingers which required it to be cleaned and sterilized.

The Ooompa Loompas would soil their yellow and red pants for a cowardly soul, if they detected any tobacco hidden beneath the unicorn and gummy toppings generously applied in Wonka’s secret blending room where he unleashed untold aromatics onto an unsuspecting world.

When Charlie took over the factory and summarily shot all of the Ooompas,he created Old Joe Krantz Original in honor of his Grandpa Joe.

Anyway, that’s the way I’d heard it.

Well it couldn't have been Carter hall, or else he wouldn't have chose chocolate instead! Probably something gross like a Virginia or Latakia blend! puffy

I watched the movies last week (both versions) and thought the same thing.

If I recall, he smoked a bowl a day and his tobacco budget was either a nickel or a quarter.

I'd guess an OTC codger blend.

Jackson, Michigan used to have a B&M that offered bulk blends by the penny or pound. The chain tobacco shop Wild Bill's used to have barrels of tobacco to bag too (as do other B&M's I've been to), but I never asked for a penny's worth.
