My first blend was captain black regular. Shortly followed by nightcap and early morning. None of which are part of my current rotation. I haven't smoked them in years. I do enjoy the pouch smell of captain black regular though

Prince Albert Soft Vanilla. Sadly long out of production or I'd have at least 50 pounds of it.
Mac Baren Original Choice. Currently sitting on a pound of bulk plus two tins of it. Once I finish a jar of something, I may just crack one of those tins.

A blend from the local tobacco shop that they called 'Black Forest.' I suspect it was Lane 1-Q. And yes, I still smoke Captain Black Royal on occasion, but not in my good pipes. I've largely moved on to Burley codger blends.
A Tinder Box English called Sherlock’s Choice. It was fine, but have since discovered so many Englishes and Balkans I love more. It is not a part of my rotation.
First smoke was also Captain black original and no because Lane's HGL exist. Second smoke was Carter hall and it was my favorite until the switch to Dominican republic. Now it's a crap shoot if you get something similar to American CH or a PG pumped bucket of sour demon leaf.
Sutliff Balkan II. I haven't smoked it since. But somehow it trapped me into this money sucking hobby?
Davidoff Scottish Mixture, end of 2009 from memory. Didn't touch it until a year or so ago and won't buy it again.

My first was Cult Blood Red Moon, around 3 years ago I think. I still keep some around since the flavor is a bit nostalgic to me, though my tastes have changed a lot since then and these days I tend to mostly smoke red Virginias and dark-fired blends so Blood Red Moon doesn't have a regular place in my rotation anymore. It's still one of the first blends I point new pipe smokers to though!
My first blends were a sampler from a mall tobacconist. Probably just rebranded Lane products in retrospect. I did end up regularly smoking several Borkum Riff blends as they were readily available at the PX. I no longer smoke them as they exist in name only today.
Clan. Probably one of the biggest disappointments of my younger days, I think I finished most of the pouch but never went back to it and gave up the pipe very soon after for some years.
Well. since it was over 50 years ago, I'm not really sure,but I think it was John Rolfe, which is long out of production.
Marlboro. No longer in my rotation.

Condor Ready Rubbed, Condor Plug and occasionally the Condor Flake. Moved onto Balkan Submarine (Sobranie), Gold Schlock, Mellow Virginia and Three Nuns and then pretty much Condor and Gawith twists. Still smoke the later along with Warrior and as well as anything else that looks interesting.
Mixture 79 and no, it’s not something I smoke anymore.
First blend from a tobacconist was I think their branding of either RLP-6 or 1-Q. I do keep some 1-Q around but I dont smoke much aromatics anymore.

Davidoff Royalty. I loved it. I haven't smoked any since I finished that first tin, but I've got a couple tins of it floating around.
