What States can you stil smoke at the VFW & American Legion

I just picked up Membership cards for both places...PA is okay but VT is not..

some states have laws on the books but are ignored for Vets...

No public smoking at all on the Big Island of Hawaii.... :evil:

PA is about the best state for private clubs and smoking.

I work at the National HQ of the VFW and have contact with a lot of posts across the country. While there is certainly no official sanction for it, I know from experience that a lot of local veteran's groups have been known to unofficially ignore laws and regulations with which they are in disagreement. Since members of veterans organizations, as a group, have a much higher voter turnout than the national average, local politicians are often reluctant to push things. :twisted:
