Picked it up at an Antique mall for $12. Only marking is the words "Italian Briar" on the side.

Looked pretty clean, maybe smoke once or twice. I ran a pipe cleaner with alcohol through it and it came out purple-ish. Any idea what might have caused that?

Cant see the photos, but that Purplish color could be from the stain on the pipe, quite common on lower end pipes or pipes that have been redone by unskilled persons, not saying it is a cheap crappy pipe, I have a few $10 Dr Grabow pipes that smoke wonderfully

It could be a cheap pipe, I would not be surprised.

Ok, think I got some better pictures. Looks like there is a tear drop design on the one side.

If I would have to guess, I would say that is is a tobacco pipe. :D Sorry about that, I am feeling kind of spunky this morning, and could not help myself.
On the serious side, my guess would be that is a basket pipe. Not sure what would cause the purplish coloration you are seeing on the pipe cleaner.

Still out of focus, though better. (Also: Don't shoot a dark pipe on a white background unless you can control exposure via spot metering.)
Here's how:
Once your photos are on a photo hosting site (such as Imgur.com; Photobucket; Dropbox, etc.), select the full image, then Control-click (Mac) or Right-click (Windows) and choose copy image location. Now paste that URL (the full web address) into the box that pops up under IMG in the compose reply window of the thread in which you want the photo to show.
