I just recently tried this blend for the first time and really enjoyed it. I don't have an answer, but I would also like to know.

I thought it was honey but Per Jensen said in an interview that it is not. My next guess is some components are sugar cased and the topping is some liquor but I don't know what. Might be maple sugar like some of their other blends?

It's a question as secretive as KFC's chicken seasonings. What is the topping on the Mac Baren Scottish mixture? Is it whisky mixed with something else? Has it changed over the decades? I'd love to know people's thoughts or evidence on changes.

That’s easy. It’s haggis.
