I just set them on a shelf in my closet. I don't really know what to do with them. I have one tin I'd never get rid of. It is a tin of Limited Edition MacBarren HH Higland Blend. It's numbered and signed by the blender. What do you guys do with them?

I have actually been building up my collection of tins. At some point I am going to cover the top of my work bench with them and then put clear acrylic on top of them to smooth out the surface. I have been thinking of making a smoking table in the same manner for my man cave and the back patio. I got the idea from some college buddies who did the same thing with beer bottle caps. They made a beer pong table.

Those are some good ideas Eaglerico. I keep some around my workbench to store various parts, stingers, etc. I also have started using some as ashtrays. I don't want to get into collecting (empty) tins.

Correction. I said acrylic. I should have said resin.
Link below is to a bar top using the bottle caps just to give an idea. I think it will look better with the tobacco tin tops as each cover will cover more space. I am still debating as well to leave them as is or flatten them out.

And another picture of a more artsy approach with an actual dinning room table.

Classic Cortezattic :) I'm going to use one for a little survival kit and one for a fire starter kit.

I'd love to collect them, but I don't have the room, so it's off to the recycling bin.

If I could find a way to easily remove the labels, I could paste them in an album.

To have yet another thing to put my stupid little shit I'll never use in, alongside the other containers filled with stupid little shit I'll never use. It's not a hoarding issue... It's a when you build and maintain computers for about 50 people things change constantly, but you need to keep some things for older stuff. Plus I've got a hundred + nails, screws, nuts, bolts and things I don't know what to call, that the minute I throw out will need.

they make excellent candle holders when a hurricane leaves you without power for a week.

I only have one, so it is classing up my pipe shelf right now. Let's face it, masons are very useful but ugly. So I hide the masons in a closet and display my tin (yes singular) with my huge hoard of 4 pipes.
