just curious in what you guys are planning to smoke for Christmas, any particular brands that you guys like that have I little bit of Christmas spirit(egg nogg, pumpkin spice etc) or a special type of tobacco that you been saving for years.

I always get Peterson's Holiday Season Blend, McClelland's Holiday Spirit, and Straus' Wenceslas.
This year I also grabbed a tin of K&K's Winter Edition blend.
I just smoke VAs VaPers and aromatics, so my only change up is to holiday centric aros.

I was thinking about buying a tin of Peterson holiday blend, how is it, and also do you store your McClelland holiday spirit for next Christmas or do you tend to smoke it right out tin

I'm really loving the Peterson Holiday Blend this year. I might have to get a few more tins before they're all gone. It's great when an aromatic tastes as good as it smells.

I know this blend doesn't have very many fans, but I quite like Germain's Plumcake. Different than anything I've ever smoked before. I somehow feel it is a holiday type of blend.
Oh and course, Black Frigate. What's Christmas without some pirates and rum?

I have some coming in the mail. I figure it's worth a try. It sounds interesting.

I'm doing a 12# beef Brisket from a steer that we raised and processed and some 2013 Christmas Cheer along with some Glenlevite 15 year old French oak reserve.

Every year I get the Peterson Christmas pipe and the Holiday Season tobacco. I reserve it for Christmas Eve when my family hosts a huge open house for family and friends. It's become a great tradition. On Christmas Day I smoke the previous year's Holiday Season out of the previous year's Christmas pipe.

Pending the snow forecast, we will drive up to the family cabin, since the family dynamic has changed drastically these last few years and just have our own small gathering in the mountains. And, I'll be bringing some various Virginias and Balkans, but for Christmas night, I will pop a 2012 tin of CC. I wish I had some older, but I'll work with what I have.

Seems mine has been determined. Some parents weren't paying attention at a Thanksgiving get together and some kids strayed into the smoking section. While smoking Admiral's Choice Black & Gold Cavendish it was mentioned "I smell candy canes" "It's that guy smoking his pipe" as it's Vanilla, I can understand. It's sweet, it smells good, cheap, and no bite. So likely...that, a good cigar, Nightcap, and some Frenchy's Sunzabitches! Haven't tried any "Christmas Blends" so sticking with what I've got.

I had some Golden Days of Yore last night. Unique tasting, but not necessarily as "Christmas"-tasting as I hoped.
Sweet photo, and looks like a good read!
2000 McClelland X-mas Cheer.
I'm extremely tempted to open an older tin of Christmas cheer, but I'm holding off for a few more years. Let us know how that 2000 tin smokes :)
