Just some ideas as to what you are planning.
For tonight, two options are sausage rolls or grilled flank steak. Depends on what at the supermarket.
For sausage rolls, it will be sweet Italian sausage cooked and rolled into pastry with mushrooms and mozzarella. Brushed with egg wash.
If they have flank steak, I would rather go with steak. Dry rub, medium rare with French string bean with shiitake mustard, and mashed taters.
Dry rub would be usual. Garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
