Having some tea with half and half while I ponder what to smoke. I was going to have Savinelli 140⁰ in my 60th Birthday pipe, but I got ink on my fingers when I was refilling printer cartridges tonight. I don’t want to risk soiling the raw briar.

Scotch highball, with Johnnie Walker red and Q brand ginger ale mixer. This company makes the best mixers, although I think of Q from Star Trek TNG every time...

Enjoying a coffee at work! Started officially yesterday and settling i well. One of the perks of working with your friends is the occasional coffee they bring up to you from the kitchen.

My beers of the week, some are february entries

Bosteels Belgian Tripel, very good middle of the road tripel, brewed with 5 grains which is quite special for belgian beer
Duvel Moortgat Strong Golden Ale, for some a staple, I dont bother with it much, but this was the next best thing on the beer menu.

Both during a farewell diner with my best co workers as I start a new gig within the same company tommorow.

Stigbergets chocolate stout, 95% cacao bitterness in the back
Sudden Death pastry stout, vanilla and hazelnuts galore
Funky Fluid session IPA, very light, more like a bitter lager
Hop Hooligans fruited sour, the name suggested it right, very vinious almost tannic sour. I like red wine that way, the sour fermentation made it, for lack of better words, weird
Chimay dark strong ale, trusty and good as always
