Yes, this is true. A dear friend is visiting and I wanted to share some nice drinks with him. I gifted him a NOS French Beechwood pipe from the late '50s, so we've been smoking and drinking. A fun night!

Nice score, Rocky! BTAC was practically non existent in these parts, this year. The only one that I was made aware of was Eagle Rare 17. I was given the choice of ER 17 or another Unicorn that showed up that day. I chose the other Unicorn.

Just bought a bottle of Terry Bradshaw Straight Kentucky Bourbon for $36. It’s 103 proof and isn’t bad. Not what I would buy for a sipping whiskey because it’s only aged for two years, but not bad for the price.

First time trying some Hoegaarden wheat beer. It's pretty good but probably wouldn't buy it again.
