The Peat Monster by Compass Box. I smashed through Spice Tree in a week. Both highly recommended.
I'm more of a sherried Scotch guy than a peated Scotch guy but The Peat Monster is fantastic!

Update: Previous Banquets’ twin just showed up...
1. Balvenie Single Barrel 15 yo Sherry cask. This has been matured exclusively in Sherry cask all 15 years, and has picked up an exquisite rum like sweetness. I get lots of honey, molasses (I believe, since reminds me of rum), some oak and lots of dry fruits (raisins etc...) on the finish
Update to the update: Wife doesn’t want her Gose. Wants whisky instead. Line it up, I know what to do with it. Happy Friday everyone!
Beautiful. One of my favorites. Regarding your post on the Balvenie, there exists a Laphroaig which is also entirely matured in sherry casks. It is quite interesting and complex. Unfortunately the only way to get it is to steal a bottle of it directly from the barrel ?
Currently I'm geeking out watching Star Trek TNG and sipping some Glenmorangie.
