Cup O Joes offers a line of rosewood pipes for $19.99 each. They are around 5" long,
in various slightly unusual shapes (except for one Dublin, I would call it). I've seen rosewood
pipes other places, but more sketchy places, like eBay. Cup O Joes' rosewood pipes come with
a one-pipe pipe rest and a a sock/bag included. Does anyone have experience with rosewood,
as compared to other non-briar woods like pear or maple? I've looked at them over the years
and just feel puzzled. Does anyone know where these are made? Cup O Joes text is not so
expansive, not always a lot of information. (Right now I'm into small briar pipes, Group 1 and
2, so I don't expect to own a rosewood pipe to comment on it any time soon, but I wondered.)
I'm the Forums member with the Mountain Laurel pipes, which I can attest are fine smokers and
as good as briar in every way I can discern; but Mountain Laurel is a real specialty item and
not readily available, as near as I can tell.
