What a Night

Lee showed up here in Carolina tonight.We spent several hours under heavy rain storms with a good many tornado warnings.It's not very often that I get so nervous that I can't sit still long enough to smoke a pipe.Tonight was that way though.I actually got a head ache from the stress.We got lucky though and there was no real damage.I live in a high area so I'm really concerned about flooding.A lot of folks are dealing with that worry as well though.Why couldn't this thing have gone to Texas and put out some fires?

Same here Puffy, been getting a lot of rain with wind, and Turnader warnings and watches.

I think we got between 5 & 7 inches last night and today....

It's finally out of here though... (the rain that is) still dealing with some pretty stiff wind.

Just hoping it doesn't take down any trees....

I think Baskerville and his lady had more trouble with Lee than we did.

It wasn't terrible here but it rained like crazy. There's a sparrow hiding on the front stoop under the eaves because it's the only dry spot around. Luckily, we didn't have any downed trees or wind damage in our area. The schools were open this morning and the roads were clear. I hope everyone else fared as well!

Sorry to hear of the severe weather you folks are having.It has been raining all day.We are lucky here in Cornwall the climate is mild and we don't get and we don't get any extreme weather.
