Who all is planning on going to Vegas this year for the west coast pipe show? Ill be going!

This will be my first pipe show ill be attending as well as my first time in Vegas!

I just checked out flight and hotel rates. This may be a real possibility for me. Need to check with work to see if I can get the days off and I need to get past the closing on this house and we will see. I really hope I can make this work.

Doubtful this year, planning on 2014 though. I enjoyed the 2012 show quite a bit.

Same weekend as my daughters's 12th birthday... guess I'll settle for the KC pipe show next month.

I am going to have to see if I can talk my wife into going to Vegas for the show. To bad is does not coincide with the NASCAR race because then I know that I could get her to agree to go Vegas.

Well, since I live in Vegas and about five minutes from Palace Station I will definitely be attending.

I'll be there (our 4th year). The show has a nice upbeat feel, even though the pace is relaxed. We'll have a show blend and I'll be doing a seminar again (not sure about the subject, though). I look forward to see you if you're attending.

Check out Russ' seminar if you can. I enjoyed his pairing talk last year. I asked him his thoughts on pairing the, for me, difficult to pair IPA beer category. He suggested something like the hard to acquire Stonehaven might work nicely. Luckily, I have some Stonehaven in my cellar and danged if he wasn't right!

This is going to be my first pipe show, and I can't wait!
I'm lucky. My fiancé is from there, so I got a resounding "Yes!" from her, because she gets to see her family.
(And, I don't have to sit around with the in-laws! :wink

I was planning on going but I have a couple concerns/questions being as this would be my first pipe show.
1) I do not see on the website where I can buy a ticket, is that at the door?
2) Can I bring a backpack for purchases, pipes and water bottle?

I will be there again this year and sure hope all of the forum members here who will be attending will drop by to say howdy. I always bring a nice pipe and tobacco that I raffle off at my table and all you have to do to register is drop by and sign up.
I love the Vegas Show. It is a great show with lots of well known vendors and smoking is allowed in the showroom!
And as for your questions, jwolf; yes to both.

I'm on the fence. Been really burning the candle at both ends here so timing would be pretty tight. Great excuse for a mini road trip though. Hmm.
