Wherever the boat is moored
I purchased two pipes at the show, sold two and traded for a whole bunch more.

This is a Larsen that I have had for while and bit through the mouthpiece. I met the original carver of the pipe in Richmond and he agreed to make a new stem for it...hand delivered in Las Vegas.

They do have a funky shading to them. What did you use to photograph them. They are very nice though

I think they are all gorgeous, but I like the Peter Stokkebye and 1950 Dunhill Bruyere the best. I just like classic clean shapes.
Congrats on great pick ups.
I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet at the show.

I have to ask. Now I know I am a newby here but, are all of you professional photografers or what?? Every picture I see you guys post is so well done, and when I think of my collection and wanting to post some pictures they do not pass muster, I will try to get some this weekend anyway, but no teasing on the background and such...

As I scrolled down, I felt that each one was better than the last. Amazing assortment. The Bill Shalonsky blast is as good as it gets. With that in hand, one could spend hours years exploring with both eye and hand.
The Kent Rasmussen pipe, I think it's called an Eskimo, would probably be my irresistable 1st pick; but the Stokkebye is so tastefully rendered, and elegant, that I'd have to have that one too.
I can see why you were attracted to each of them. Great selection, wonderful score!
