Jarred in 2009. Still in great shape. The jar aroma is classic Virginia, grassy with a definite sweet note that is tantalizing. Straight Virginias have never been my favorite, but lately I've been really enjoying most of the VAs in my older collection. Except for this one. I don't hate it, it's good as far as straight VAs go, and very classic flavors. Slightly sweet, straight up tobacco flavors, I do not detect any topping, not really complex but everything you would want a VA to be. I admit it gets more interesting after the first half bowl, becoming a bit richer and less, well, I guess less astringent might be the word. Just not my wheelhouse. VA fanatics would probably love it, the flavor is medium to strong, burn is effortless, plenty of smoke...if you like this kind of weed I think you'd love this.

I have a bunch of this and it’s … okay. Never found it exceptional in any way but I don’t dislike it either. It’s just … okay for a simple VA. Can get a little warm if puffed too hard but not bad if you smoke it gently.
