I was over due to stock up the cellar and I had a bunch of my aged tins of English blends sold for me and had a big credit built up so I went hog wild. Here is the list of tins I bought this last week. All of these were bought from 3 of our sponsors.
13 Escudo

10 Wessex Campaign Brigade Dark Flake

10 Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls

10 Solani 633

10 Wessex Brown Virginia Flake

10 John Aylesbury Luxury Flake
5 Wessex Gold Virginia Flake

5 F&T Cut Virginia Plug

2 100 gram tins of Solani Silver Flake

2 50 gram tins of Orlick Golden sliced.

Wow, Harris, that's quite a quality score there my friend. Looks like you'll have plenty to replace those you sold off. I'd say enjoy but I'm sure you will

Thanks guys. The beauty about the old tins is that for everyone that is sold I am getting at least 4 tins of stuff I love smoking. I guess I was just lucky for stocking up on the older Murrey made Dunhill tins back in 2002. Who knew they would stop making it a few years later.

Oh my lord, cigrmaster. Incredible haul. I have yet to try the Wessex. Since you led me right on the Solani, the Wessex will be on the next TAD order......so long as its not too late.

Impressive :) About 1,000$ worth of Tobacco! That's some massive TAD :worship:
May I ask the approx. price range of which the Murray's Dunhill changed hands? I have a good stash of those and wouldn't mind parting with half of it for enough of an incentive.

I definitely am not worried about the end coming, if it does I will open all my tins and lay in a bed of tobacco waiting for the end.
gnatjulio, I would recommend starting with the Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake first, followed by Brown and then Gold. The Brigade is becoming real hard to find for some reason, if you see it grab it.

Nice restock Harris. That should hold you for a bit. With the crappy interest rates I don't see where a guy could go wrong investing in some fine tobaccos for a hefty return in the future.

Roth, I did get some nice discounts most notably P&C, that was where the bulk of the business went. I totally agree that prices are going through the roof in the next few years. My plan is to have enough for over 20 years in the next 2 years. I have been focusing on re doing my pipe collection and kind of spaced on the cellar. I figure I am smoking about 10 pounds a year so I will need a couple of thousand tins to keep me in tobacco for 20 years, plus whatever bulks I buy. I really need to step it up tobacco wise, as it is I only have maybe 5 years of stock right now.

Quite the haul, Harris! Though I do see a problem.... 13 tins of Escudo is bad luck so might as well send a few my way and make it a pretty looking 10

I also learned a valuable lesson when I did not stock up on Bell's Three Nuns years ago. It is now discontinued in it's former form and I don't want to get caught like that again. Who knows if someone decides they don't want to make Escudo anymore. I am not getting caught like that again. All of the people who loved the Murrey made Dunhill are wishing they had stocked up.
The beauty about stocking up is that even if your tastes change way down the road, you can sell aged tins for way more than you paid. I wish I could make 33 percent interest per year on all my investments. lol
