I was going to break in my first Kaywoodie at a GWAR concert but the lead guitarist died RIP. Looks like the first bowl will be in memory of Flattus Maximus.

Oh Lordy, Lordy save us all - another thread with the word "shit" in the title, within a minute of each other, and separate authors too! LMAO I've not laughed this hard in a very long time, tears running down my cheeks (the facial ones).
Hark, is that the sound of the killjoys marching down the corridors now? Duck for cover, run while you can, you're about to get the fickle finger of insanity  pointed at you too!

Yeah, I saw that a few hours ago. That really sucks. I really hope it was of 'natural causes'. I hate seeing these things happen and it's because of an OD.

OMG, clapping hands over my eyes and mouth in absolute, unbridled astonishment - there's that frightful word AGAIN!!!
Jees Fly, I really wanna add you to my friends list but haven't figured out how to do it yet, all mine invited me - obviously some chose not to teeheeheehee.
Oh and RIP to whoever passed over!

As far as I can tell they don't know what happened yet. The worst part is I finally got tickets to see them on the tenth

Damn that does suck! :(
Maybe its just me but I never thought GWAR got the respect they deserved. Many of the social critiques in their songs went right over most peoples heads.

It was Smoot! I had to google to see which "Flattus" had died. I really haven't listened to much GWAR since the 1990s but always liked them.

Nooooooo! Man why do the good ones have to go? Why couldn't it have been Beiber or that woman who wrote Twilight? :crying:

I was going to add a post about a sort of commerative barbeque held this weekend (ala Gwar-be-que); but when I went to YouTube looking for the video that prompted the idea, I came across THIS and figured it was so...damned disturbing/hilarious I felt I had to share it.

That is really sad. I really liked these guys. Never saw them in concert - just video and I owned Scumdogs of the Universe which I thought was a great album.
