Was interested in acquiring a Growley Ramses pipe, but looks like the FDA drama has pushed him out of the American market. Gotta love that FDA.

Guess somebody more resourceful and ambitious will make the money instead. Anyone in almost any business or profession in the US has had to accept and adapt to increasingly oppressive and idiotic gov't regulations over the past couple decades, or else bail. The ones who didn't bail have thrived with the lessened competition. Those who bailed are probably working for someone who adapted and thrived.

He's not Wal Mart who "adapted" to the onslaught of online purchasing buying Amazons biggest competitor for $3.3 Billion. Granted it's not government oppression but changing markets. They handle the gov. stuff easily. Ever see all the oil cleanup stations in their stores? kinda overkill. What's the current number for getting FDA approval $100 grand? sure to go up. That's a lot of low margin high grade pipes to just cover that nut. It's impossible. Savenelli et all should be fine.

Growley may be back soon. Basil Meadows announced he was out, but recently reopened for business. The filing of the lawsuit against the FDA apparently removes the legal issue (whatever that was)for these small pipemakers.
