For whatever reason, the thought of waxing my pipes made me nervous. After all of the prerequisite reading and yes, I understand it comes off quickly and I understand potential pitfalls, but damn they look nice and feel good! For pipes I rarely smoke, the waxed look works in my display case. And so I bought carnuba Guitar wax from Amazon and sat and waxed. The look seriously nice! Cleaning and waxing a car is a good thing even knowing it'll just get dirty again. So it is with waxing a pipe properly.

Yup... Wax on... wax off...wax on... Wax off.... Wax on... Wax off. :). It comes with an applicator sponge and use a paper towel to off. Really good wax!!

Good job, Nate. It reminds me I need to do some of mine. Those are some great looking pipes.

I cannot speak highly enough of the good ol' Dunhill pipe wipe. There's nothing wrong with your process Nate, the wipe is just an alternative method of waxing and polishing.
