Was this Pipes Magazine article true?

I saw this on the website: Smoking makes you Smarter
It says that smoking makes you smarter based on a study at a college. Is this article true? A later paragraph in it says only PART of the above article was true. I'm not sure what part was true and which was false? (Other than the increasing women attractiveness and stuff) Is the statistic that pipe smokers live 33% longer than non smokers? I feel dumb, but I'm really confused about what part of this article is true and what is not....

I guess I'm just gullible or bad at recognizing sarcasm. haha. I have read though on other sites that nicotine improves cognitive function and long term memory, so I just didnt know what of this article was true, and what was not.

Besides any study that simply measures the intelligence of pipe smokers vs. the general populace would "prove" smoking pipes makes you smarter.
